Infineon Honored with the 2025 Bosch Global Supplier Award for Excellence in Automotive Semiconductors

Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY), a global leader in automotive semiconductors, has been awarded the 2025 Bosch Global Supplier Award in the “Materials and Components” category. Presented by Bosch, a world-leading technology and services provider, the award recognizes Infineon’s outstanding innovation and product development in microcontrollers and power solutions.
“We are deeply honored to receive the Bosch Global Supplier Award,” said Peter Schiefer, President of Infineon’s Automotive division. “This recognition highlights our commitment to innovation, quality, and operational excellence, as well as the strength of our long-standing partnership with Bosch. Together, we will continue to develop cutting-edge solutions that accelerate the transition toward zero-emission, software-defined vehicles.”
Arne Flemming, Head of Supply Chain Management at Bosch, added:
“Through the Bosch Global Supplier Award, we recognize our very best suppliers and service providers. These companies stand out among our approximately 35,000 suppliers worldwide, strengthening Bosch’s innovation and competitiveness in a challenging market environment.”
A Comprehensive Portfolio and Future-Driven Investments
Infineon and Bosch have collaborated for many years across multiple generations of microcontrollers (MCUs). Their close partnership has been pivotal in developing MCUs tailored for the evolving electronic and electrical architectures that underpin the software-defined vehicle era.
Infineon offers one of the industry’s most comprehensive automotive portfolios, spanning control and connectivity, analog, sensing, and power technologies. With its deep system-level understanding and application expertise, Infineon is among the few global suppliers capable of supporting customers at such scale.
Bosch also commended Infineon’s strategic investments in manufacturing technology and capacity — essential foundations for future innovation and growth. Infineon continues to expand its high-efficiency 300 mm silicon wafer production, while advancing wide bandgap materials such as gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC).
In line with this progress, Bosch will open its new 300 mm smart power manufacturing plant in Dresden, Germany, in 2026, further deepening collaboration between the two companies in advanced semiconductor technologies.
A Longstanding Partnership Recognized
The Bosch Global Supplier Award is presented every two years to honor the company’s most exceptional suppliers. In 2025, Bosch selected 49 suppliers from 14 countries out of a global network of around 35,000 partners. This marks the 19th edition of the awards, highlighting excellence in quality, cost efficiency, sustainability, and innovation.
This year’s theme — “Embrace the Challenge: Resilient Partnerships for a Sustainable Future” — celebrates the power of collaboration in navigating demanding market conditions.
For Infineon, this is the fifth time receiving this prestigious distinction, reaffirming its technological leadership and long-term role as a key supplier in Bosch’s automotive electronics ecosystem.
