Intel Unveils Core Ultra Series 3 at CES 2026, Ushering in the Next Era of AI PCs

At CES 2026, Intel introduced the Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3 processors, marking the debut of the first AI PC platform built on Intel’s 18A process technology.
Designed and manufactured in the United States using Intel’s most advanced process node, these processors aim to reshape both consumer and enterprise computing by delivering higher performance, extended battery life, and significantly enhanced graphics capabilities.
Throughout the show, held from January 5 to 10, Intel executives and industry partners showcased how the Core Ultra Series 3 achieves best-in-class results across battery efficiency, gaming, content creation, and artificial intelligence through a carefully optimized architecture.
Targeting consumer PCs, commercial systems, and edge computing applications, the new processors bring desktop-class gaming performance to mobile devices while ushering in the next phase of edge AI, enabling more autonomous, agent-based intelligence.
The Intel Core Ultra Series 3 mobile processors will be available starting January 27, both online and through retail channels and OEM partners. The platform delivers Intel’s longest battery life to date for AI PCs, along with a substantial boost in gaming performance enabled by graphics approaching discrete-GPU levels. In addition, Intel is preparing a custom variant tailored for handheld gaming devices.
In parallel, robotics developers are increasingly adopting Core Ultra Series 3 processors at the edge, replacing standalone GPUs for AI inference and unlocking more efficient, integrated AI computing solutions.
