Intel Unveils Core™ Ultra Series 3 Processors at CES 2026, Powering a New Generation of AI Laptops

Earlier this week at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Intel officially unveiled its Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3 processors.
During the launch event, Intel’s Technology Showcase featured around 24 AI-enabled laptops from 15 leading PC OEMs, all powered by the third-generation CPU built on Intel’s 18A process technology, the most advanced semiconductor node Intel has developed to date.
The top-tier Series 3 SKUs deliver up to 60% higher multi-threaded performance, more than 77% improvement in gaming performance, and battery life of up to 27 hours, setting a new benchmark for mobile computing.
Pre-orders for the first consumer laptops equipped with Series 3 processors will begin this week, with over 200 designs from major PC OEMs expected to enter the market later this year.
One of the early adopters of the third-generation platform, Brazil-based Positivo Tecnologia, is eager to bring these new systems to customers.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Intel on the launch of the Series 3 processors and can’t wait for our customers to experience laptops powered by this new platform,” said Hélio Bruck Rotenberg, President of Positivo Tecnologia. “This truly represents a new chapter of technological innovation driven by the partnership between Positivo and Intel.”
