Lam Research will open a new factory in Sherwood, local residents become a recruitment goal

Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment Supplier Lam Research has recently announced that a new plant is plans to open in Sherwood in Oregon this year.
According to the "Portland Forum" report, this new plant covers an area of 45,000 square feet, which is expected to create approximately 300 jobs. According to a press release in Lam Research, Shewood Factory will provide chip manufacturers with key tools for manufacturing advanced electronic equipment chips.
According to reports, the Lam Research plans to employ local residents, veterans and high schools, and university graduates to work. The company will expand employee team through the internship pathway of Portland Community College Microelectronics Project.
