Infineon Introduces PSOC™ 4100T Plus MCU with Advanced Multi-Sense Capabilities for Smarter System Control and HMI

Infineon Technologies AG has launched the PSOC™ 4100T Plus, an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ microcontroller (MCU) equipped with cutting-edge Multi-Sense technology. This new MCU delivers a robust combination of analog and digital features, offering 128KB of Flash memory, 32KB of SRAM, and Infineon's high-performance Multi-Sense capabilities—including CAPSENSE™, inductive sensing, and liquid level detection.
Designed with enhanced reliability and a suite of advanced sensing features, the PSOC 4100T Plus provides a complete solution for system control and human-machine interface (HMI) applications.

In HMI-focused configurations, the MCU supports a variety of sensing technologies:
• Capacitive sensing for detecting touch and proximity
• Inductive sensing for touch detection on metal surfaces
• ML-based liquid level sensing for fluid presence and volume detection
• Hover touch sensing using CAPSENSE, enabling non-contact gesture interactions
