TDK Launches New InvenSense SmartMotion® ICM-536xx Series to Bring High-Performance OIS to a Wider Range of Devices

TDK Corporation (TSE: 6762) has introduced the new InvenSense SmartMotion® ICM-536xx series of high-performance 6-axis IMUs, designed to deliver advanced optical image stabilization (OIS) for smartphones, tablets, and cameras — enabling sharper, blur-free photos and videos.

OIS technology counteracts the effects of hand shake and motion, ensuring clear, stable imagery even in low-light conditions, during zoom operations, or with long exposure shots. As demand for premium mobile photography and videography continues to rise, OIS has become an essential feature in mid-range and flagship smartphones.

With over 15 years of expertise in delivering customized high-end OIS/EIS sensor solutions for leading smartphone and camera OEMs, TDK’s latest ICM-536xx chips make it possible for manufacturers to integrate advanced OIS capabilities into a broader range of devices, meeting the needs of both content creators and everyday users.
